2019 SWIFT SUMMIT

The Southern Women in Film & Television Summit (SWIFT) debuted in 2018 to rave reviews and unparalleled educational and networking opportunities.

Nearly 200 creatives converged in Nashville for the inaugural event, hosted by Nashville Women in Film & Television (WIFT). The SWIFT Summit featured industry panels, workshops, and networking events. Additionally, the group debuted a new awards gala and showcased innovative fashions and exciting new musicians, establishing this as an event for talented women in all arenas.

Nashville WIFT has announced that the Southern Women in Film & Television Summit (SWIFT) is returning to Nashville on June 21st, and industry icons, Kathie Lee Gifford and Jennifer O’Neill will lend their support to the event by serving as Honorary Chairs. The conference, which will take place at Lipscomb University in Ezell Center, will once again feature lectures, panel discussions, screenings and one-on-one sessions with industry professionals.

This year, the event is expected to grow even larger, as it has also partnered with another high-profile industry event, Film-Com.

Film-Com is Nashville’s business market for film, television, documentaries, and gaming. Similar to the American Film Market in Los Angeles, the event brings in development executives, packaging agents, financiers, sales agents, producers, and other industry veterans earnestly looking to collaborate on new projects and work with new content creators. As the closing weekend of Film-Com, SWIFT is now an integral part of the biggest film & TV market event in the Southeast!

Note: Your SWIFT full registration ticket also allows you to attend FILM-COM sessions and activities!!  (http://film-com.com/about/)

In addition to two days of industry panels, workshops, and networking events, SWIFT will feature a number of special events including a celebrity fashion show, showcasing fashions by Project Runway alum, Johnathan Kayne and an awards gala celebrating talented women in all arenas of entertainment.

Sunday, June 23rd will focus on actors, with an intensive one-day “Actor-Com” featuring workshops, and training sessions with casting directors, acting and vocal coaches and more.

The event will also feature a female-centric exhibit hall, which will be open June 21st and 22nd.  VISIT SWIFT SUMMIT WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION
